La La Vazquez & Carmelo Anthony Get Married…
Lala Vazquez and Carmelo Anthony tied the knot on Saturday July 10th, in a ceremony with about 320 close friends and family. Their 3 year old son, Kiyan escorted them to the altar. Aaw, how cute!
The wedding was planned by event planner Mindy Weiss. Designer Ed Libby crafted the theme, evoking love and romance, beginning with the ceremony itself. Vazquez entered through wrought-iron gates wrapped in floral boas and made her way over plush Bordeaux carpeting down a red satin aisle lined with suspended floral lanterns. New York’s Cipriani 42nd St. was transformed into a scarlet sea of rich, romantic reds and saturated pinks at their nuptials. The couple exchanged their vows beneath a floral-encrusted canopy made up of tens of thousands of red roses with accents of hot-pink hydrangea and cymbidium orchids. Vazquez carried a bouquet of amore roses studded with crystals and rhinestones and wrapped in ivory satin. The beautiful bride wore a Vera Wang gown and the couple did exchange their vows in such a romantic way.
Anthony, now 26, proposed to La La, now 30 five years ago, with an 8-carat cushion-cut diamond. He added 2 1/2-more carats with two matching wedding bands.
